North Yorkshire

In April 2008 HARP which had previously been an independent charity formally merged with Keyhouse and at the same time Keyhouse began to offer a wider range of advice services than had previously been available through HARP which had been an exceptional provider of housing advice services since it first opened in 1991.

Keyhouse currently has 2 office bases in North Yorkshire from which our services are delivered: in Thirsk and in Scarborough. The majority of our staff team are based in Thirsk.

Keyhouse provides the full range of legal advice services from these premises and the Thirsk office is also the base of operations for staff delivering our training courses.

We do not currently provide any housing services in North Yorkshire but we are an approved provider and are actively pursuing opportunities as and when they arise.

25 years of support

Twenty-five years since that first Keighley hostel began catering for the region’s homeless, we’re very proud of the successful multi-discipline organisation we’ve become.

How have we done it?
