NVQs
Thanks to funding from the European Social Fund (ESF), Key House has become a City & Guilds accredited NVQ Training Centre able to offer Housing NVQs at levels 2, 3 and 4. There is a national shortage of Housing NVQ providers; Key House is the only one in the whole of Yorkshire & The Humber (except for Wakefield Council who only offer it to their staff).
The current round of ESF funding allows us to provide the NVQs throughout the whole of Yorkshire & The Humber. We can also provide NVQs in Management, Advice & Guidance and Business & Administration.
Key House management have decided to subsidise the NVQ training for the Voluntary Sector only.
Cost
Level 2 £1,050
Level 3 £1,200
Level 4 £1,300

OTHER TRAINING
Key House has a history2 over the past 4 years of co-ordinating one-off training courses for the Advice and Supported Housing agencies in the area. These courses have been well received and well attended. We will be continuing this as we identify the courses most required. If you require specific courses for your staff then let us know and we will arrange them if there is sufficient interest.
In conjunction with the BME Housing Group and Bradford Council Equalities Service we also offer a half-day Equality & Diversity session once every 3 months. Please contact us for a list of dates and venues.
TRAINING PERSUASION GUIDE
On a final note, have you ever given any thought to the benefits
of good training?
1. Improves performance - increases skills and motivation.
2. Increases staff loyalty - employees feel valued and happier.
3. Reduces employee stress - stops employees' concerns over
their performance.
4. Return on investment - it reduces learning times and increases
output, sometimes dramatically.
5. Helps recruitment - organisations are more attractive, especially
to younger people.
6. Lowers resistance to change - there is less moaning with
more training.
